open space is for all of us who wish to promote the knowledge of Frederick II of
Swabia (Latin Suevia), the medieval emperor that most influenced italian
politics, religion, art, literature and architecture. This site represents a
forum for current information in which news regarding Frederick II will be
introduced. We are interested in your cooperation: studiouses or passionates may
leave reports, comments, history pages, …

sections:
history: a
survey of the most important events that characterized the life of Frederick
II;
Chronology by Lorenzo Matteoli
minor
events: a
collection of episods, anecdots and private life details suggest useful
indications on Frederich’s work and his strong personality;
monuments:
a hike through Frederick’s settlement activity from the castles to the
cathedrals and the palaces erected by the Germanic emperor in the South of
Italy which he considered his own motherland. You can catch a glimpse of the
suggestive monuments that are particularly important for sightseeing.
